What is a flipped classroom?Flipped classroom is an instructional strategy and a type of blended learning that reverses the traditional learning environment by delivering instructional content, often online, outside of the classroom. It moves activities, including those that may have traditionally been considered homework, into the classroom.

FACEBOOK a private group which is treated as an extension of our studio for students and alumni. This is where announcements and reminders are made, resources are shared, best of kiln honors are posted and special programming is supported.
YOUTUBE channel for posting, viewing and reviewing videos playlists for each project. Each project has 5 to 8 videos ranging from 2 to 15 minutes to support students learning.
GOOGLE Forms and Slides for collecting data, presentations sharing and teacher and peer feedback.
SNAPCHAT story allows students to see what is happening and being created all day in the studio.
TWITTER AND INSTAGRAM for students, parents and community utilized to promote and showcase student work and programming.
PERISCOPE Visiting artists are asking to be seen via Periscope! At any given time we can project a Periscope session with potters around the world and interact with them.
PINTEREST for collecting and sharing information and inspiration. Students act as "guest pinners"!
